About
We believe family history should feel alive.
Then Again was created because family photographs often outlive the stories behind them. We help families keep both.
We combine the care of an archivist with the eye of a filmmaker.
Our work sits at the intersection of memory, history, photography and storytelling. We treat every photograph as a precious original, every family as the authority on its own story, and every film as something meant to last.
Technology is a tool in our work, not the centre of it. Restoration and selective animation help viewers connect with the past, but the decisions that shape a film are always made by people.
Based in Toronto. Creating family films for families across Canada and worldwide.

[Founder story: background, why Then Again began, and the personal connection to family history.]
Every family has a story worth keeping.
Tell us whose story you want to preserve. We'll help you decide what comes next.
No obligation. Just a conversation about your family and what you would like to preserve.
